The project is co-funded by the European Commission in the framework of the LEONARDO program.

Goals

ET-Net is a European entrepreneurship training project. It is dedicated to researchers and engineers who wish to create their own innovative businesses. The works have been realised by 10 partners from 6 countries (France, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom).

They all operate in the fields of higher education, research and business incubation.

The project aims to :

  • Facilitate the creation and development of European innovative businesses
  • Develop and promote a European entrepreneurship training network for small innovative businesses, dedicated to researchers and engineers
  • Develop methodologies and practitioner interventions in supporting entrepreneurship training for small innovative businesses

The tools developed:

Tool 1 : MOSIS (MOdèles, inStruments et Initiatives pour le Scouting) a global awareness-raising model for participants involved in research into creating start-ups.
It aims to:

  • Raise participants’ awareness of the potential that research has in the field of innovation; encourage them to value research findings; and instil the risk culture and business spirit into them.
  • Provide participants with access to the data they need to carry out their project.
  • Promote exchange and integration between academics and entrepreneurs.

Tool 2a : European training methodology : 'Enterprise and entrepreneurship'
The methodology is aimed at trainers and tutors offering support to innovative project developers. It includes course modules specially designed for high-tech start-ups and university spin-outs.

Tool 2b: Database of innovative entrepreneurship training methodologies in Europe
