For Business ideas competition
The best business ideas receive a prize in terms of services, that is, participation free of charge in pre-incubation activities organised by the promoters of the competition aimed to provide the key tools to set the business plan .
Pre-incubation activities include tutoring and coaching by experts in the drawing up of a business plan.
In this way, winning ideas can be transformed into outright business plans and compete for the cash prizes on offer in the second stage of the competition.
For Business plans Competition
The three best business plans will receive the following prizes:
FIRST PRIZE €25,000
SECOND PRIZE € 20,000
THIRD PRIZE €15,000
The top 5 projects ranked gain the right to participate in the Competition "National Award for Innovation in 2011” to be held in November in Turin.
Moreover, Piemontech Fund is commited to invest 300,000 euro in the winning project of Start Cup Piemonte Valle d’Aosta 2011.
SPECIAL PRIZES worth €7,500 each:
ICT PRIZE for the best business plan focusing on the information & communication technology (ICT) sector, sponsored by Istituto Superiore Mario Boella,
CUNEO PRIZE for the best business plans to be implemented in the Province of Cuneo, sponsored by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Cuneo,
PREMIO VALLE D’AOSTA for the best business plan to be implemented in the Pépinière d'Entreprises of Aosta or Pont Saint Martin, sponsored by Regione Autonoma Valle d'Aosta (Funding from the “Programma operativo FESR Competitività regionale 2007/2013”),
UN.I.VER. PRIZE for the best business plans accepted into the Innovative Enterprise Incubator of Vercelli sponsored by Consorzio UN.I.VER.,
NOVARA PRIZE, for the best business plans to be implemented in the Province of Novara, sponsored by the local authority of the Novara Province.
All the prizes and grants are cumulative up to a maximum of €25,000 in prize money per business plan.

Moreover, the best business plans will take part to the National Prize for Innovation in Turin in November 2011. The National Prize for Innovation is an annual competition which brings together winners of the Italian Start Cups – the Business Plan Competition organised by the universities which are part of the PNICube association. The terms of access and the organizational details of the "National Award for Innovation 2011” will be published on the website of Start Cup Piemonte Valle d'Aosta in the coming weeks. |
