- Development and prototyping of mechatronic systems. Hibrid/electrical powertrain and “Drive-by-wire”systems. ACTUA is spin-off company of the Mechatronics Lab of Politecnico di Torino. ACTUA mission is the application to energy efficiency field of tools and competences developed in the last fifteen year of research and technology transfer activity in mechatronics.
ACTUA designs and prototypes systems for power, energy and motion control in transportation and renewable energy sources. ACTUA develops projects for custom and proprietary product development up to the industrial phase. ACTUA produces rapid prototyping systems for hybrid electrical powertrains, drive-by-wire systems, motion control that are distributed in Europe and USA.

ACTUA joined MESAP - Mechatronic Innovation centre of Regione Piemonte - considering that common tools development, like for example Open Source Systems, together with participation to cooperative precompetitive
projects are essential elements to build and maintain sustainable regional competitiveness.
