CTE Next, the House of Emerging Technologies of Turin, has opened applications for its new Call4Testing, now in its third edition, titled "Next Society" and promoted by the City of Turin.

The initiative is aimed at start-ups and SMEs wishing to test innovative solutions using 5G and at least one of the emerging technologies (Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain) for the society of the future, with a "smart city" perspective.

In other words, the call is looking for projects capable of promoting the liveability of urban contexts for citizens, tourists and general users, thanks to the ability to proactively manage environmental challenges of the territory and improve its attractiveness in areas related to culture, tourism, events, entertainment and education, in coherence with Turin's 2030 climate neutrality goals.

The advantages for the selected companies

Selected projects will be entitled to reimbursement of part of the costs incurred for testing activities up to a maximum of €70,000.

In addition, it will be possible to access the services provided by CTE Next:

  • support for testing and monitoring activities;
  • evaluation of post-intervention scenarios, in terms of expected impacts;
