• Defining, integrating and running security hardening tests of an embedded Linux system
• Support the cybersecurity team on specific Linux-related security aspects in the context of customers projects or missions

For the performance of the duties above, Osmium expects the following experience and skills:
• Master’s in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded System Design, or IT Security or a comparable qualification
• At least 2 years work experience or an advanced skilled student (final year) with demonstrable high skills in Linux (Note 1: we will put your skills at test!, Note 2: for advanced students, we are open to support your degree’s final work or thesis related to embedded systems security);
• Ability to seek and understand security needs and research possible solutions following formal standardized procedures or best practices
• Solid experience in operating system security, especially Linux
• Hands-on experience working with Kernel configuration and Application security features and hardening
• Good communication skills
• Target oriented, driven workstyle in analytic problem-solving skills required
• Willingness to take over responsibilities and drive things forward (you will have your voice on the project you will be working on!)
• Fluent English language skills are essential (Note: oral and written, as you will be part of a multi-cultural team with international customers).

And it would be awesome also if you have the following experience and skills:
• Working knowledge of at least one of the following security standards (ISO/SAE 21434, DO-326A/ED-202A series IEC 62443, ISO 2700x)
• Working knowledge of risk management methods or threat modelling techniques (e.g. STRIDE)
• Familiarity with ARM Trust Zone or other TEE
