In 2025, digital fraud saw significant growth. Some SMS phishing campaigns increased by up to 900% in a single year, and forecasts indicate a further deterioration in 2026, partly due to the increasingly widespread use of artificial intelligence and deepfakes, which make attacks more credible and difficult to intercept.
Many SMEs believe they are adequately protected. In reality, they often lack assessment tools, structured procedures, and specific training, which are essential for intercepting an attack before it has a concrete impact. When an incident occurs, the consequences are immediate: operational downtime, compromised data, payment fraud, and loss of trust from customers and partners. In this context, prevention costs less than recovery.
To support businesses, Fondazione Piemonte Innova, in partnership with Cyber 4.0, the national Competence Center for cybersecurity, is offering the Cyber Maturity Program, a cybersecurity service financed up to 90%, designed specifically for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. The program, lasting a total of approximately 24 hours and held in Italian language, allows to:
- identify key vulnerabilities through a cyber assessment;
- raise awareness of current digital risks;
- test realistic attack scenarios based on real-life cases.
Places are limited to 25 companies. Expressions of interest must be submitted by February 2, 2026, by completing the dedicated online form.
