REA Space was conceived in 2022 with the purpose to help astronauts facing microgravity diseases.
The company, based in Puglia (Apulia), was founded privately by four shareholders, all of them with more than 10 years of experience in different fields from Textile to aerospace. REA participated in the Takeoff Accelerator program and has entered ESA BIC Turin's incubation program in January 2023, completing it at the end of 2024.
The start-up's target is to reach medical and technological validation and finalize the development of a full MVP of the EMSi space suit.
