Wave for Energy (W4E)

Cleantech

Wave for Energy (W4E) has advanced skills in the design of complex systems, modeling and development of control systems based on artificial intelligence. The first proprietary application is called ISWEC, Inertial Sea Wave Energy Converter, a floating device that converts the energy present in the waves of the sea into electricity. The first ISWEC was installed in 2015 in Pantelleria and a second was built for Eni in 2018 for the first hybrid system in the world based on solar and wave motion. The industrial development of ISWEC is the subject of an agreement with Eni itself.
