Scintille, the series of meetings with brilliant minds and prominent personalities dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurial success stories organised by I3P, the Incubator of Politecnico di Torino, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, continues with a new appointment: on Tuesday 16 July 2024, starting at 6 PM at the I3P headquarters, there will be a new event with Christian Greco, Director of the Egyptian Museum of Turin, as its protagonist.

The meeting will be an opportunity to explore how technologies at the time of the ancient Egyptians are studied and told through contemporary technologies, today projected towards the virtual era. Thanks to his experience and in-depth knowledge of the sector, Greco will illustrate the dynamics linking the past, the present and the future, bringing the example of the Egyptian Museum of Turin, the oldest in the world and the most important after the one in Cairo.

Director of the Egyptian Museum since 2014, Christian Greco combines his museological career with an intense scientific outreach activity: author of over 90 scientific publications and keynote speaker at numerous national and international conferences, Greco is a member of scientific committees of several prestigious institutions.

"Christian Greco will take us on a fascinating journey through the technological innovations of ancient Egypt, offering an enlightening view of how they have influenced and continue to influence our lives," said Giuseppe Scellato, President of I3P. "An appointment that underlines the intent of the project promoted by the incubator on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, to propose to the community of innovators new opportunities to compare and inspire the entrepreneurship of tomorrow".

Presenting the event, held in Italian language, will be Paola Mogliotti, Director of I3P, and Adriano Marconetto, Entrepreneur In Residence at the incubator. Participation in the meeting is free of charge, subject to online registration while places are available.
