Applications for the new 2026–2029 edition of the Italian initiative titled Progetti Integrati di Filiera (PIF), which means Integrated Supply Chain Projects, can be submitted free of charge until June 18, 2026.

The PIFs are internationalization support programs organized by Regione Piemonte, funded by the 2021–2027 European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) - konw in Italy as FESR, Fondo Europeo di Sviluppo Regionale - and implemented through Ceipiemonte, aimed at Piedmontese SMEs in the following sectors:

  • Apparel, Luxury, Design
  • Aerospace
  • Agritech and Agricultural Machinery
  • Agri-Food
  • Automotive & Transportation
  • Cleantech & Green Building
  • ICT
  • Microelectronics & Automation
  • Health & Wellness
  • Textiles

The PIFs support the commercial development of Piedmontese companies through initiatives aimed at strengthening their presence in international markets and creating new business opportunities.

The advantages for the companies

Joining the PIFs allows companies to:

  • meet selected foreign buyers and industry professionals by participating in workshops, incoming events, B2B meetings, and business conventions organized in Piedmont;
  • participate in trade missions, international trade shows, suppliers’ days, and industry events abroad;
  • develop business opportunities through qualified contacts and networking;
  • receive specialized support through business intelligence and strategic consulting services to identify markets, partners, and international development strategies.

Eligible companies benefit from a reduction in the costs of participating in the project’s investment activities - including trade shows, B2B meetings in Italy and abroad, and individualized support programs - of up to €20,000 per company, per year, and for each PIF the SME joins, subject to the limits of the Italian “de minimis” availability.

How to apply

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Piedmont that meet the requirements set forth in the regional call for applications are eligible to apply. Since this is the first year of the new PIF 2026-2029 cycle, all interested companies must submit a new application for admission, including those that have already participated in previous editions.

The procedures for submitting applications are outlined in the “Bandi Piemonte” section of the Regione Piemonte’s website, at this dedicated link. Applications may be submitted until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
