Innometro call: I3P is among the official actors in the Turin area

I3P

Innometro has been launched: a call by Città Metropolitana di Torino to support local micro-entreprises. I3P is also among the actors.

The incubator has been chosen as one of the three actors in the area to promote and provide services to support innovation.

What is Innometer?

Innometro call is a programme of Città Metropolitana di Torino and Finpiemonte. Created with the aim of promoting technological transfer from the world of innovation and research to local micro-enterprises, it supports them in developing and implementing an innovative project of their products, processes or technologies.

Who can join?

All micro-enterprises* with operational headquarters in Turin (see the list of municipalities) can participate in the call, and therefore benefit from the facilities provided.

*All companies with fewer than 10 employees and whose turnover does not exceed €2.000.000,00 a year are considered micro-enterprises.

Why apply to Innometro?

Applying to Innometro is recommended to micro-enterprises who plan to spend money* on services provided by the two universities in Turin and/or by startups or innovative SMEs (with operational headquarters in the territory of Turin).

*Between €5,000 and €50,000.

How is the call structured?

The call is structured in two subsequent phases. Support and validation: the first phase is operated by one of the three implementing entities (I3P, 2i3T and Soges) includes validation of innovative projects. This phase is preparatory and necessary to access the second phase of financial facilitation.

The first phase will include the following activities provided by the implementing entities:

  • Advice and orientation to the development of innovative ideas
  • Support for the development and scouting of technologies
  • Support in identifying the partner/subject that will develop the innovative project/provide the product.
  • Assistance in translating the innovative idea into a project

In case of approval of the innovative project idea following submission to the Committee, beneficiaries will be able to access the financial support by:

  • Financing, optional, at a zero rate with a one-year pre-amortisation and with a maximum duration of 60 months (interest rate subsidy);
  • Grant of a 20% non-refundable aid, up to a maximum of €10,000.

The procedure for applying for financial facilitation is already active here. However, it is necessary to have first completed the first phase and have obtained the validation of the innovative project.
