My Start BCN, the competition aimed at the promotion and international growth of virtuous Italian start-ups eager to expand their market in Spain, returns to Barcelona: following the success of the 2021 edition and the previous years, the Italian - Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with I3P, the Innovative Companies Incubator of Politecnico di Torino, is launching the fifth edition of the competition, aimed at all Italian citizens who are founders of innovative start-ups (not necessarily registered in the Italian Innovative Start-up Register) and are interested in entering the Spanish market.
From all the applications received, five start-ups will be selected and will have the opportunity to present their project in the Catalan capital and submit it to the evaluation of a jury composed of local innovation and technology managers, venture capitalists, investment companies, and technology poles.
On November 29, 2022, during the "Lighthouse of the Mediterranean" Award ceremony, the competition prize will be presented to the best selected start-up. The prize includes many services and facilities:
- start-up mentoring programme;
- administrative and legal consultancy;
- coworking space for 6 months;
- networking and contacts with the Barcelona innovation and technology ecosystem;
- registration with the Italian - Barcelona Chamber of Commerce for one year;
- participation in 4YFN 2023, flagship event for digital start-ups.
