From today until February 26th, 2023 it is possible to apply to Terra Next's new call for start-ups, on the website www.terranextaccelerator.com, to participate in the selection for the second acceleration batch focused on the Nutraceuticals, Circular & Bio-materials, and Regenerative Agriculture segments.

This second call for young innovative companies follows the one concluded in May, which selected 8 start-ups - among 126 Italian and international applications - engaged in the development of solutions for biodegradation processes, food integration and cosmetics, for the production of degradable bioplastics and natural paints.

After the application phase, the Terra Next evaluation commission – consisting of promoters, advisory boards, and involved corporate partners – will select up to 10 innovative start-ups and SMEs that will access the acceleration program, benefiting from an initial investment and the opportunity to access the 3-month acceleration program in hybrid mode. The in-person hours, which will take place in Naples, at Campus di San Giovanni a Teduccio of Università Federico II, will include mentorship, training, networking sessions, and face-to-face in-depth sessions dedicated to consolidating the value proposition and business model, technical validation and prototyping of solutions, go-to-market support, and fundraising. All of this will complement remote learning, in order to guarantee start-ups and founders the necessary flexibility and support in their growth and development journey. Furthermore, the opportunities of the accelerator are also manifested in the initial endowment of around 3.8 million euros allocated by Fondo Acceleratori di CDP Venture Capital and around 1.3 million allocated by Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center and partners.

An ambitious project in the name of innovation, which is backed by institutional and scientific partners of great depth, such as the Fondazione con il Sud, Università Federico II di Napoli, Campania Digital Innovation Hub, the Italian Cluster of the Circular Bioeconomy SPRING, Materias deep tech innovation center, S.R.M. - Studi e Ricerche per il Mezzogiorno. Terra Next also involves the corporate partners Pastificio Garofalo (core partner), Gruppo Getra, Gruppo Nestlé, Novamont, Aristea, Nolanplastica, Selepack, and Tecno, who will provide their contribution in terms of know-how, assets, and networks for the development of start-ups.

Interested start-ups and SMEs will have until 26 February 2023 to apply through the accelerator website.
