Revolutionize real estate marketing with innovative technologies: this is the mission of Immodrone, the startup leading the Italian market of drone services. Always devoted to technical and qualitative evolution, Immodrone is now taking it to the next level thanks to the new collaboration with a first-class partner such as Canon.

The partnership that the two companies have recently entered into is geared towards a major technological upgrade for the startup's drones, thanks to the new mirrorless line with the Canon R5 and R6 models, which allows them to achieve cutting-edge technical results: shooting in up to 8K resolution, 45-megapixel photography, sensors stabilized up to 8 stops, newly designed interchangeable optics, and more. The drone model selected for the first trial was a DJI Matrice 600 hexacopter, combined with an advanced Ronin camera stabilization system.

"Collaborating with a company like Immodrone is a source of great enthusiasm for Canon: it gives us the opportunity to push our technologies in new directions and face new challenges," commented Elisabetta Bisignano, Sales Director ITCG of Canon Italia. "Doing all this, enhancing the young entrepreneurship of our country, is an additional reason for pride and a confirmation of our brand's commitment to Italian talents who look to the future of imaging with an innovative eye. Sustainability and promotion of the territory thus become keywords in the development of a service that is experiencing a positive evolution."

The startup, founded in 2015 in I3P, was born from the idea of developing an "Uber" of drones, through a network of over 1,500 certified pilots throughout the country, to shoot the beauties of Italy from the sky and enhance the value of real estate and tourist facilities, also through artificial intelligence applied to the promotion on digital channels. In addition to aerial shots, in fact, Immodrone also offers rendering services, virtual reality, augmented reality and video editing, aimed primarily at real estate agencies and builders.

The technology used by drones guarantees maximum safety in all circumstances, as they are able to land autonomously in case of signal loss. Drones, compared to helicopters, are also champions of environmental sustainability thanks to their all-electric rotors, with no atmospheric or acoustic impact: green-friendly and effective tools that allow close-ups even in urban contexts.

The startup's founder, Simone Russo, graduated in the Italian "Bocconi" University, then gained professional experience in Switzerland and Australia. In 2015, his passion for innovation got him into the ranking of the most promising under-35 entrepreneurs in Italy according to Wired, while in 2019 Forbes magazine gave him a double recognition, including him in the Top 100 of "young leaders of the future" and in the Top 3 of Consumer Technology.
