StartUp Calabria is the acceleration programme for innovative enterprises, promoted by Fincalabra and Regione Calabria with the collaboration of I3P, the Innovative Companies Incubator of Politecnico di Torino, which helps start-ups and new enterprises to speed up their entry into the market by defining and developing the business model needed to access capital and intercept new strategic and commercial partners.
The course, which will take place in mixed presence and remote mode, started with the first two days of training in presence at the premises of the "Magna Grecia" University of Catanzaro, which sponsored the initiative, recognising its important training and skills enhancement value.
The first day of the meeting opened today, May 10th, 2023, with greetings from manager Valeria Scopelliti representing the Region of Calabria, Alessandro Zanfino, President of Fincalabra, and Paola Mogliotti, Director of I3P. The director of the School of Higher Education Stefano Alcaro sent his welcome greetings to the participants, while the StartUp Calabria acceleration programme articulated in its various phases was presented by Antonio Mazzei, Head of Assets at Fincalabra, which manages the project.
In the classroom were the 10 Calabrian start-ups winners of the Call launched by Fincalabra in recent weeks, ready to follow with great interest and enthusiasm the lessons on marketing, lean approach and canvas model by Guido Meak, Entrepreneur In Residence of I3P and university lecturer, specialist in innovative entrepreneurship and market development.
