The curtain is about to rise on the third edition of Motor Valley Fest, the widespread festival of Italian automotive. From July 1 to 4, 2021, the city of Modena will become the capital of a series of appointments dedicated to networking for those working in the automotive industry, motorsport, young innovators, lovers of engines and taste. Also thanks to the know-how acquired in the past editions, the event will have a hybrid format with a series of physical appointments transmitted in online streaming, others only physical and still others only digital.
Within a radius of 150 kilometers, the Motor Valley of the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna includes the plants of Ferrari, Ducati, Lamborghini, Maserati, Dallara, Pagani and Alpha Tauri. The Motor Valley supply chain, with over 16,500 companies and 66,000 employees, constitutes 10% of the entire national supply chain and an excellence of Made in Italy, also in the context of the industrial sector; it is a project that demonstrates the ability of a territory to network and enhance the peculiarities that distinguish it on an international level, pivoting on the motor industry, on university excellence and on its global attractiveness.
The Motor Valley Fest program includes the "Innovation & Talents" space, dedicated to young talents: incubators and startups, universities and masters, students of technical institutes, professionals and researchers. An opportunity to talk about the future of the world of motors and the professions of tomorrow, the result of meetings between brilliant minds, companies and technologies; an event of exchange and networking useful to outline the peculiarities and skills required in the labor market of today and tomorrow, the challenges and opportunities, the impact of new technologies and new services. Within the I&T Area, up to 100 startups active in the field of automotive and sustainable mobility, including those grown in I3P, will have the opportunity to present themselves to companies and spectators through an individual pitch.
