Qonto, Europe's leading business finance management solution, will be in Turin on July 7 for the first roadshow event of PowerUp!, an initiative aimed at Italian start-ups to support the development of the local innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The Turin date, organised in collaboration with I3P - with which Qonto entered into a partnership last March - will be held at 6.30 p.m. at Talent Garden Fondazione Agnelli and will be the first event of a travelling roadshow that will touch several Italian cities during the summer, as well as an opportunity to involve local communities through meetings, workshops and other networking activities. During the events the PowerUp! project will be presented and the founders of successful Italian scaleups will be invited on stage, in the case of the Turin date they will be Epicode, Young Platform and Casavo, who will share their experiences, advice and "food for thought" with the participants.
PowerUp! is a project that opened with the launch of a call aimed at pre-seed and post-seed start-ups. Through the call, 6 excellencies will be selected to present their project during a Pitch Night, to be held on October 20, 2022 in Milan, in front of a jury composed of representatives of the main Italian venture capital and accelerators, scaleup founders and leading stakeholders in the innovation sector. Up for grabs is an exclusive mentoring session with the co-founder and CEO of Qonto, as well as prizes offered by PowerUp! partners. With this initiative, Qonto, as a fast-growing European scaleup, aims to help the Italian entrepreneurial ecosystem to grow and compete, by offering concrete support to those who have launched their own startup, through its experience and strong partner network, connecting startups, investors, scaleup founders and industry experts.
To participate in PowerUp! you need to apply online on the website and fill in the application form on the F6S portal. The call will be open until September 30, 2022. At the end of the application phase, a panel of experts will select the 6 finalist start-ups (3 pre-seeded and 3 post-seeded) that will participate in the Pitch Night in October in Milan.
The PowerUp! initiative has Exor Seeds as its main partner and is supported by numerous partners such as Talent Garden, Nana Bianca, Startup Geeks, Kampaay, OVH Cloud, Scaleway, Impact Hub, InnovUp, SheTech and StartupItalia.
