As of March 2022, a new agreement enters into force: the one that the Incubator of Politecnico di Torino has signed with Qonto, the leading European business finance solution that aims to make everything easier, from payments to financial and accounting management, empowering start-ups, SMEs and freelancers for their success and growth.

Founded in France in 2017 by Steve Anavi and Alexandre Prot, Qonto is committed to building the first all-in-one financial solution for small-to-medium businesses and professionals; to date, the fintech company has surpassed the threshold of 220,000 business customers in four national markets (France, Italy, Germany and Spain) and 500 talents employed in its Paris, Milan, Berlin and Barcelona offices. In January 2022, Qonto raised a €486 million Series D investment round, bringing its total valuation to €4.4 billion.

"This investment round marks a turning point for Qonto and will allow us to strengthen our leadership in the Italian market," explained Mariano Spalletti, Country Manager Italy at Qonto. "Our roadmap towards this goal is very clear: in the next two years we will invest over €100 million in Italy, which will allow us to recruit the best talent and focus on developing products and services tailored to the needs of Italian SMEs and professionals."

Thanks to a new partnership with the Incubator of the Politecnico di Torino, I3P start-ups can benefit from three months free of charge for the opening of a Qonto business account, which includes a series of features and benefits among which:

  • online account opening in minutes;
  • physical and virtual cards for the entire business team;
  • digitization of receipts and receipts with a photo;
  • online payment of F24 debit and credit;
  • dedicated access to the accountant and connection with apps and accounting software;
  • Integration with third-party tools, such as Zapier and Stripe.

The Qonto offering includes six different types of business accounts, with services tailored to SMEs and professionals. The Essential plan dedicated to businesses, for example, offers 2 user logins, 5 accounts with separate IBANs and 100 SEPA credit transfers and direct debits included in the plan. Members of the I3P community are offered a special 3-month free trial of the service, based on the Essential plan: the discount code that will be provided to the incubator's start-ups, reserved exclusively for new customers and valid for all pricing plans, entitles them to the first month free and a discount calculated on the Essential plan for the following two months.

You can find further information on the features and functionality of the business accounts on the Qonto website, while for more information on the activation of the free trial, I3P start-ups can contact their reference tutor.
