The Chamber of Commerce of Cuneo, in collaboration with I3P, proposes a series of meetings for aspiring entrepreneurs, startups and companies in the Alpimed area (which includes the French department of Maritime Alps and the Italian provinces of Cuneo and Imperia) that intend to convert their business or start new ones in an innovative way.

The initiative, titled Innovation Bootcamp 2021, is aimed at local businesses, startups already established or being established, projects of conversion or support for existing businesses. The cycle of meetings aims to offer an opportunity to deepen the distinctive features of innovative business models, technology scouting activities and practices of digital transformation. The format is aimed at promoting the importance of innovation in products, services, processes and business models, presenting local entrepreneurs with the method and the national and international network of I3P, as well as assisting them in the conception and validation of their projects.

The series of meetings is open to a maximum of 15 participants and will begin with the first appointment on September 2, 2021, when the program of the initiative will be presented. The full event calendar and the registration form to participate are available on Chamber of Commerce of Cuneo's official website.

In order to contribute to the development of the territorial system, the initiative aims to provide a general overview on innovation and business culture, and then to preliminarily assess, together with each participant, the sustainability of single business ideas, with a second phase of individual meetings on opportunities and ways to get to start new innovative projects. Among the topics at the center of the training activities: the lean approach, the startup ecosystem, strategic marketing and web strategy, business model canvas, business plans and fundraising.

The initiative is implemented under the PITER ALPIMED (Project No. 4073 INNOV) and is co-funded by the European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), according to the ALCOTRA 2014-2020 cross-border cooperation program for the Alpine territory between France and Italy. The ALPIMED INNOV project strengthens innovation in the mountain economy and supports development by making the territory an ecosystem of innovations applied to the issues of climate change, land use and mobility. The allocated funds allow to create support paths for companies and to imagine innovative solutions to be tested in other projects.
